I am fitting one heat pump at my house. Which tier?
The single domestic unit tier at $445. It covers the permitted-development calculation most authorities ask for.
What if I do not have background sound data?
Then the screening tier is what you can have. It compares the plant against published or estimated background levels and tells you plainly how much confidence that carries. If your authority insists on measured data, you will need a local acoustician to measure it, and we will say so before you order.
Where do I find the sound power level?
On the manufacturer datasheet, usually as LwA in dB. Upload the datasheet and we will find it.
Can you assess plant that is already installed and causing complaints?
Yes. Tell us in the brief and include any correspondence from the authority.
